Michigan High School Basketball - Sterling Heights Stevenson ripped by University of Detroit Jesuit
January 3, 2023: Sterling Heights, MI 48313 The University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans to 41 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cubs now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 4. University of Detroit Jesuit will meet a Fighting Irish team coming off a 76-51 non-league win over Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 4-3.
The Titans (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, L'Anse Creuse North was crushed by Madison (Madison Heights, MI), 50-47, in a non-league outing.
