Texas High School Basketball - Texas Wind fells Vanguard College Prep
January 3, 2023: Waco, TX 76710 Texas Wind (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Vanguard College Prep Vikings (Waco, TX), 43-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Texas Wind upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The host DasCHE (Cedar Hill, TX) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 16-8. DasCHE won 72-57 in their recent non-league bout against Cistercian (Irving, TX)
Next up, the Vikings play the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs (McKinney, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 2 bout, on Friday, January 6. Vanguard College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 21-7 record after their 70-47 non-league win over All Saints (Fort Worth, TX).
