New Hampshire High School Basketball - Timberlane holds off Winnacunnet
January 3, 2023: Plaistow, NH 03865 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Timberlane Owls (Plaistow, NH) and the visiting Winnacunnet Warriors (Hampton, NH), saw Timberlane's basketball squad hold off Winnacunnet by a tally of 57-52.
With the victory, Timberlane improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Dover (Dover, NH) to confront the Green Wave in a Division I challenge on Friday, January 6. The Green Wave come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Dover lost 43-40 in their recent league challenge against Exeter (Exeter, NH)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Windham Jaguars (Windham, NH) in a Division I challenge, on Friday, January 6. Winnacunnet will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 61-55 non-league loss to Pinkerton (Derry, NH).
