Michigan High School Basketball - Valley Lutheran nudges Cass City
January 3, 2023: Saginaw, MI 48603 Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cass City Red Hawks (Cass City, MI), 46-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valley Lutheran upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Chargers host St. Louis (St. Louis, MI) to clash with the Sharks in a Tri-Valley - West II bout on Friday, January 6. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 5-2. St. Louis won 46-39 in their recent non-league bout against Morrice (Morrice, MI)
Next up, the Red Hawks clash with the Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West bout, on Thursday, January 5. Cass City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Hatchets go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 31-11 non-league win over Ubly (Ubly, MI).
