The Horizon Scorpions basketball team (El Paso, TX), dropped 47-29 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Clint Lions (Clint, TX)

The Lions now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Elizario for a 4A Region I District 2 battle on Friday, January 6. Clint will confront a Eagles team coming off a 44-39 non-league win over Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 10-10.

The Scorpions (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores come into the 5A Region I District 2 battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Del Valle dropped by Riverside (El Paso, TX), 44-19, in a non-league battle.
