The First Baptist Saints basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Covenant Knights to 15 in the Saints non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Saints now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Longview Christian for a TAPPS 2A District 4 contest on Friday, January 6. First Baptist will meet a team coming off a 25-21 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Longview, TX). The record now stands at 0-3.

The Knights (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against All Saints Episcopal (Tyler, TX). The Trojans enter the TAPPS 4A District 2 contest with a 10-6 record.
