Texas High School Basketball - Garden City ripped by Klondike
January 3, 2023: Lamesa, TX 79331 The Klondike Cougars basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Garden City Bearkats to 38 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wellman-Union for a 1A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, January 6. Klondike will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 49-47 non-league loss to All Saints Episcopal School (Lubbock, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.
The Bearkats (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Robert Lee (Robert Lee, TX). The Steers enter the 1A Region II District 11 contest with a 7-4 record.
