Texas High School Basketball - Garrison knocked off by Gary
January 3, 2023: Gary, TX 75643 The Gary Bobcats basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Garrison Bulldogs to 26 in the Bobcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Timpson for a 2A Region III District 23 contest on Friday, January 6. Gary will meet a Bears team coming off a 53-40 league win over Joaquin (Joaquin, TX). The Bears record now stands at 19-6.
The Bulldogs (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX). The Dragons enter the 2A Region III District 23 contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Shelbyville was defeated by Tenaha (Tenaha, TX), 63-20, in a league contest.
