Michigan High School Basketball - Goodrich overwhelms New Lothrop
January 3, 2023: Goodrich, MI 48438 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Goodrich Spartans (Goodrich, MI) and the visiting New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI), saw Goodrich's basketball squad wallop New Lothrop by a tally of 53-28.
With the victory, Goodrich improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Corunna (Corunna, MI) to confront the Cavaliers in a Flint Metro challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 5-2.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) in a Mid-Michigan challenge, on Friday, January 6. New Lothrop will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 45-36 non-league loss to Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI).
