Wisconsin High School Basketball - Manawa overwhelms Gresham Community
January 3, 2023: Manawa, WI 54949 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Manawa Wolves (Manawa, WI) and the visiting Gresham Community Wildcats (Gresham, WI), saw Manawa's basketball squad wallop Gresham Community by a count of 69-35.
With the victory, Manawa upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Wolves host Wittenberg-Birnamwood (Wittenberg, WI) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Wittenberg-Birnamwood won 71-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Bowler Panthers (Bowler, WI) in a Central Wisconsin - North challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Gresham Community will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
