Washington High School Basketball - Highland crushes Riverside Christian
January 3, 2023: Cowiche, WA 98923 Highland Scots (Cowiche, WA) fans exited the stadium happy Tuesday as they observed their basketball team triumph over the visiting Riverside Christian Crusaders (Yakima, WA), 49-12 in a non-league contest.
The Scots now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granger for a 2B Eastern Washington - West contest on Friday, January 6. Highland will meet a Spartans team coming off a 71-20 non-league loss to Toppenish (Toppenish, WA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-6.
The Crusaders (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wilson Creek (Wilson Creek, WA). The Devils enter the 1B Central Washington contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Wilson Creek was routed by Pateros (Pateros, WA), 58-14, in a non-league contest.
