January 3, 2023: Hutchinson, KS 67501 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hillsboro Trojans (Hillsboro, KS) and the host Trinity Celtics (Hutchinson, KS), saw Hillsboro's basketball squad wallop Trinity by a tally of 51-20.
With the victory, Hillsboro improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Smoky Valley (Lindsborg, KS) to play the Vikings in a Central Kansas challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Smoky Valley won 43-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Hoisington (Hoisington, KS)
Next up, the Celtics play the Berean Academy Warriors (Elbing, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Trinity will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 47-14 non-league win over Classical (Wichita, KS).
