Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS), 67-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Leake Central upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Gators travel to Louisville (Louisville, MS) to play the Wildcats in a 4A Region 4 bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Knights play the Louisville Wildcats (Louisville, MS) in a 4A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. West Lauderdale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
