January 3, 2023: Wheeling, IL 60090 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL) and the host Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), saw Niles West's basketball squad wallop Wheeling by a tally of 56-27.
With the victory, Niles West improves its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Wolves host New Trier (Winnetka, IL) to confront the Trevians in a Central Suburban - South challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Trevians come into the challenge with a record of 10-7.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge, on Friday, January 6. Wheeling will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 44-40 non-league loss to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL).
