Unity Christian Crusaders (Hudsonville, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Zeeland East Chix (Zeeland, MI), 57-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Unity Christian upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Crusaders travel to West Catholic (Grand Rapids, MI) to clash with the Falcons in a Ottawa-Kent - Blue bout on Friday, January 6. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-0. West Catholic won 61-54 in their recent non-league bout against Rockford (Rockford, MI)

Next up, the Chix clash with the Zeeland West Dux (Zeeland, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Green bout, on Friday, January 6. Zeeland East will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Dux go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 53-48 non-league loss to Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI).
