Next, the Bears confront the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. La Vernia will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Rockets enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX).
The Thunderbirds now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6.
