January 3, 2023: North Las Vegas, NV 89032 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad nipped the visiting Desert Pines Jaguars (Las Vegas, NV), by a margin of 44-40.
The Desert Shields (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Del Sol got by GV Christian (Henderson, NV), 45-38, in a non-league outing.
The Jaguars now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mojave for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 4. Desert Pines will clash with a Rattlers squad coming off a 72-38 non-league loss to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Rattlers record now stands at 0-3.
