California High School Soccer - Heritage nudges La Sierra
January 3, 2023: Riverside, CA 92505 Heritage Patriots (Menifee, CA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host La Sierra Eagles (Riverside, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Orange Vista Coyotes (Perris, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Heritage will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA).
The Eagles now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hillcrest for a challenge on Friday, January 6. La Sierra will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Norte Vista (Riverside, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-9.
