California High School Soccer - Helix overwhelmed by University City
January 3, 2023: San Diego, CA 92122 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), saw University City's soccer squad beat Helix by a margin of 7-3.
The Centurions now sport a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Hilltop for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5. University City will meet a Lancers squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Sweetwater (National City, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Helix drops to 3-5 on the season. The Highlanders host Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to meet the Foothillers in a Grossmont Hills test on Wednesday, January 11. The Foothillers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Grossmont won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against San Diego (San Diego, CA)
