January 3, 2023: Minneola, FL 34715 Lake Minneola Hawks (Minneola, FL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lyman Greyhounds (Longwood, FL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks confront the West Orange Warriors (Winter Garden, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Lake Minneola will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Oak Ridge (Orlando, FL).
The Greyhounds now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity Catholic for a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. Lyman will confront a Celtics team coming off a 2-2 non-league Belleview (Belleview, FL). The Celtics record now stands at 4-1.
