Michigan High School Basketball - Bridgeport overwhelmed by Chesaning
January 3, 2024: Bridgeport, MI 48722 The Chesaning Indians basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Bridgeport Bearcats to 32 in the Indians non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Indians now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Byron for a Mid-Michigan contest on Friday, January 5. Chesaning will battle a Eagles team coming off a 68-67 non-league win over Morrice (Morrice, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
The Bearcats (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI). The Eagles come into the Tri-Valley - Red contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Frankenmuth was routed by Lake Fenton (Linden, MI), 71-52, in a non-league contest.
