Washington High School Basketball - Bush knocked off by Overlake
January 3, 2024: Redmond, WA 98053 The Overlake Owls basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Bush Blazers to 46 in the Owls league triumph on Wednesday.
The Owls now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Park Christian for a 1A Emerald Sound contest on Friday, January 5. Overlake will battle a Eagles team coming off a 78-40 non-league loss to Bainbridge (Bainbridge Island, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-8.
The Blazers (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bear Creek (Redmond, WA). The Grizzlies enter the 1A Emerald Sound contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Bear Creek ran past South Whidbey (Langley, WA), 74-40, in a league contest.
