Washington High School Basketball - Friday Harbor ripped by Nooksack Valley
January 3, 2024: Everson, WA 98247 The Nooksack Valley Pioneers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Friday Harbor Wolverines to 31 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Pioneers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lynden Christian for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Friday, January 5. Nooksack Valley will battle a Lyncs team coming off a 87-41 league win over Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Lyncs record now stands at 12-0.
The Wolverines (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lummi (Bellingham, WA). The Blackhawks enter the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Lummi triumphed over Tulalip Heritage (Marysville, WA), 72-33, in a league contest.
