Ohio High School Basketball - Grandview Heights fells Newark Catholic
January 3, 2024: Columbus, OH 43212 Grandview Heights Bobcats (Columbus, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Newark Catholic Green Wave (Newark, OH), 58-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grandview Heights upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Bexley (Columbus, OH) to clash with the Lions in a Central Buckeye League bout on Saturday, January 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Bexley won 68-58 in their recent non-league bout against Centennial (Columbus, OH)
Next up, the Green Wave clash with the Lakewood Lancers (Hebron, OH) in a Licking County - Cardinal bout, on Saturday, January 6. Newark Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Lancers go into the game with a 3-5 record after their 47-35 non-league loss to Hamilton Township (Columbus, OH).
