Michigan High School Basketball - Jefferson fells Hazel Park
January 3, 2024: Monroe, MI 48162 Jefferson Bears (Monroe, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hazel Park Vikings (Hazel Park, MI), 61-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Anderson (Southgate, MI) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Anderson lost 57-41 in their recent league bout against Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI)
Next up, the Vikings clash with the Center Line Panthers (Center Line, MI) in a Macomb Area - Bronze bout, on Thursday, January 4. Hazel Park will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 44-30 non-league loss to Fordson (Dearborn, MI).
