Florida High School Basketball - Palm Harbor University nips IMG Academy Silver
January 3, 2024: Bradenton, FL 34210 Palm Harbor University Hurricanes (Palm Harbor, FL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host IMG Academy Silver Ascenders (Bradenton, FL), 46-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Palm Harbor University upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Sumner (Riverview, FL) to play the Stingrays in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Stingrays come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Sumner won 75-32 in their recent non-league bout against Canterbury (St. Petersburg, FL)
Next up, the Ascenders play the Immokalee Indians (Immokalee, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. IMG Academy Silver will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 51-46 non-league win over Lely (Naples, FL).
