January 3, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90059 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA), saw King/Drew's basketball squad wallop Roosevelt by a tally of 84-52.
With the victory, King/Drew improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Yankees in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Yankees come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Hamilton lost 49-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Marquez (Huntington Park, CA)
Next up, the Rough Riders play the George Washington Prep Generals (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 48-45 non-league loss to Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA).
