Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ), 65-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Marlboro upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Rumson-Fair Haven won 68-31 in their recent non-league bout against Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ)
