Michigan High School Basketball - River Rouge crushes Rogers
January 3, 2024: River Rouge, MI 48218 River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rogers Rams (Toledo, OH), 76-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, River Rouge upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Mott (Waterford, MI) to play the Corsairs in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 7. The Corsairs go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Mott won 56-53 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI)
Next up, the Rams play the Bowsher BlueRacers (Toledo, OH) in a Toledo City bout, on Sunday, January 7. Rogers will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The BlueRacers go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 88-55 non-league loss to St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH).
