Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Bend Riley Wildcats (South Bend, IN), 36-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Elkhart upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Lions host South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN) to clash with the Indians in a bout on Monday, January 8. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
