Michigan High School Basketball - Romeo can't hold off Armada
January 3, 2024: Armada, MI 48005 The Armada Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Romeo Bulldogs to 47 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Algonac for a Blue Water Area contest on Friday, January 5. Armada will battle a Muskrats team coming off a 39-20 non-league win over Clintondale (Clinton Township, MI). The Muskrats record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Romeo moves to 6-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI) to meet the Huskies in a Macomb Area - White match on Friday, January 5. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 4-4. Port Huron Northern lost 56-33 in their recent non-league match against Romulus (Romulus, MI)
