Louisiana High School Basketball - Denham Springs tops St. Scholastica
January 3, 2024: Denham Springs, LA 70726 Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Scholastica Doves (Covington, LA), 42-24 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Denham Springs upgrades its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Albany (Albany, LA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Albany won 60-55 in their recent non-league bout against Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA)
Next up, the Doves play the Pine Raiders (Franklinton, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. St. Scholastica will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 59-34 non-league win over Covington (Covington, LA).
