January 3, 2024: Standish, MI 48658 Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Glenn Bobcats (Bay City, MI), 41-30 in a league bout.
With the win, Standish-Sterling upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Millington (Millington, MI) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Millington won 53-16 in their recent non-league bout against Laker (Pigeon, MI)
Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Swan Valley Vikings (Saginaw, MI) in a Tri-Valley - East bout, on Friday, January 5. Glenn will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 49-24 non-league loss to Bay City Western (Auburn, MI).
