Michigan High School Basketball - Imlay City ripped by Powers Catholic
January 3, 2024: Flint, MI 48505 The Powers Catholic Chargers basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Imlay City Spartans to 49 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Chargers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arthur Hill for a Saginaw Valley contest on Friday, January 5. Powers Catholic will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 54-39 non-league loss to Hartland (Hartland, MI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 3-3.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI). The Pioneers enter the Blue Water Area contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Croswell-Lexington triumphed over Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI), 55-26, in a non-league contest.
