New Jersey High School Basketball - Livingston nips Mount Olive
January 3, 2024: Flanders, NJ 07836 Livingston Lancers (Livingston, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mount Olive Marauders (Flanders, NJ), 46-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Livingston upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Lancers host Montclair (Montclair, NJ) to play the Mounties in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Mounties go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Montclair won 48-38 in their recent non-league bout against Millburn (Millburn, NJ)
Next up, the Marauders play the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles (Rockaway, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - National bout, on Friday, January 5. Mount Olive will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 43-30 league win over Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ).
