Parchment Panthers (Parchment, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host River Valley Mustangs (Three Oaks, MI), 45-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Parchment upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to South Haven (South Haven, MI) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 3-2. South Haven won 65-28 in their recent non-league bout against Bangor (Bangor, MI)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Bangor Vikings (Bangor, MI) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 5. River Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 1-6 record after their 65-28 non-league loss to South Haven (South Haven, MI).
