Ohio High School Basketball - West Geauga overwhelmed by Riverside
January 3, 2024: Painesville, OH 44077 The Riverside Beavers basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting West Geauga Wolverines to 30 in the Beavers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Beavers now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North for a Western Reserve contest on Saturday, January 6. Riverside will battle a Rangers team coming off a 47-44 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 3-3.
The Wolverines (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Tigers come into the Chagrin Valley - Chagrin contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Chagrin Falls triumphed over Fairview (Fairview Park, OH), 58-24, in a non-league contest.
