California High School Basketball - Mt. Pleasant holds off Hill
January 3, 2024: San Jose, CA 95127 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Hill Falcons (San Jose, CA), saw Mt. Pleasant's basketball squad hold off Hill by a tally of 38-32.
With the victory, Mt. Pleasant improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Independence (San Jose, CA) to confront the 76ers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The 76ers come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Independence lost 45-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Hill will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 39-8 non-league win over Lincoln (San Jose, CA).
