With the victory, Banks Academy advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Jets travel to Bessemer Academy (Bessemer, AL) to meet the Rebels in a AISA AA Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Rebels enter the battle with a record of 8-0. Bessemer Academy won 71-58 in their recent non-league battle against Fort Dale Academy (Greenville, AL)
The Wildcats now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11.
