The Basha Bears nipped the host La Mirada Matadores basketball squad by a final score of 72-67 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Bears clash with the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 4. Basha will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Sea Hawks enter the outing with a 15-2 record after their 69-60 non-league win over Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM).
