Arkansas High School Basketball - Bismarck bests Magnet Cove
January 3, 2025: Malvern, AR 72104 The Bismarck Lions basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Magnet Cove Panthers to 40 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Genoa Central for a 3A Region 7 game on Tuesday, January 7. Bismarck will play a Dragons team coming off a 59-54 non-league win over Bismarck (Bismarck, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 10-4.
With the loss, Magnet Cove falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR) to play the Trojans in a 2A Region 8 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 6-7. Parkers Chapel won 50-36 in their recent non-league game against Drew Central (Monticello, AR)
