January 3, 2025: Greenwood, AR 72936 The Greenwood Bulldogs (Greenwood, AR) basketball edged the visiting Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR), 51-45 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Van Buren for a 5A West bout on Tuesday, January 7. Greenwood will play a Pointers team coming off a 51-49 non-league loss to Greenbrier (Greenbrier, AR). The Pointers record now stands at 7-9.
With the loss, Cabot falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Panthers host Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR) to play the Hurricane in a 6A Central bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Hurricane go into the bout with a record of 15-1. Jonesboro won 79-47 in their recent non-league bout against Blytheville (Blytheville, AR)
