North Carolina High School Basketball - Fellowship Baptist Academy can't hold off Calvary Christian
January 3, 2025: King, NC 27021 Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Fellowship Baptist Academy Eagles (Durham, NC), 47-44 in a league match.
With the victory, Calvary Christian advances its record to 9-7 on the year. The Cougar travel to Surry HomeSchool (Mount Airy, NC) to face the Runnin' Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Runnin' Patriots enter the match with a record of 7-12. Surry HomeSchool won 50-36 in their recent non-league match against Dayspring Christian Academy (Blacksburg, VA)
The Eagles now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vandalia Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Fellowship Baptist Academy will face a Vikings squad coming off a 59-55 league loss to Faith Christian (Ramseur, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-11.
