In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Richland Rangers basketball team scored a close 41-38 triumph over the Collins Tigers.

The Rangers (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against McComb (McComb, MS). The Tigers go into the 4A Region 6 contest with a 2-11 record.
