The Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TN) basketball were winner over the visiting Community Vikings/Viqueens (Unionville, TN), 65-46 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Hampshire for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Mt. Pleasant will play a Hawks team coming off a 67-22 non-league loss to Lewis County (Hohenwald, TN). The Hawks record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Community falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Vikings/viqueens host Grundy County (Coalmont, TN) to play the Yellowjackets in a 2A District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 6-3.
