In Friday's non-league test, the Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) basketball squad knocked off the host Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ), by a score of 69-50.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 4. Valor Christian will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 9-3 record after their 70-50 non-league win over Higley (Gilbert, AZ).
