In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons basketball team scored a close 58-53 triumph over the Waterford Ravens.

The Dragons (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Durango (Las Vegas, NV). The Trailblazers go into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Durango nipped GV Christian (Henderson, NV), 71-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Ravens battle the Upland Highlanders/Scots (Upland, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. Waterford will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Highlanders/Scots come into the test with a 6-9 record after their 62-39 non-league loss to Durango (Las Vegas, NV).
