Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA), 63-44 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Eagle's Landing advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Hampton (Hampton, GA) to face the Hornets in a AAAA Region 2 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 5-6. Hampton won 54-52 in their recent league match against Jones County (Gray, GA)

The Lions now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Paulding for a AAAAA Region 5 match on Tuesday, January 7. Lithia Springs will face a Raiders squad coming off a 53-50 non-league win over Arlington Christian (Fairburn, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-12.
