With the victory, El Cerrito advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Gauchos host Piedmont (Piedmont, CA) to face the Highlanders in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Highlanders enter the match with a record of 5-5. Piedmont lost 70-68 in their recent non-league match against St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA)
