Kentucky High School Basketball - Green County overwhelms Franklin-Simpson
January 3, 2025: Franklin, KY 42134 The Green County Dragons basketball team scored 79 points and limited the host Franklin-Simpson Wildcats to 49 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Dragons now have a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Caverna for a District 18 game on Tuesday, January 7. Green County will confront a Colonels team coming off a 75-38 non-league win over John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Franklin-Simpson falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to South Warren (Bowling Green, KY) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 8-4. South Warren lost 71-41 in their recent league game against Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY)
